I'm following on with some old tutorials from 3D Buzz on Blender's individual mechanics, and I've gotten to a part where the instructor has gotten to
Motion Paths. However, as he's using version 2.5 and I'm using 2.63, some changes have been made where users can no longer calculate
animation paths directly from the "
Motion Paths" drop-down section in the
Object section of the
Properties window.
I've looked around for some information, but all I know from my searching is how to create a path mesh, not use it.
If anyone could lead me toward the right direction of calculating animation paths (that's how they're described in the tutorial), it would be much appreciated.
P.S. For those wondering where precisely the instructor speaks of this, it's in the 16th movie on
this page
Hi,
Try to select Pose menu > Motion paths > Calculate in header of 3d view.
