I know that with C4d you can set point level animation and animate a spline that drives the shape of an object. Is there a similar method for animating an object that is aligned to a bezier path?
For instance, if you created a chain vai the array modifier and aligned that chain to a path, how do you animate the path to drive the shape of the chain?
You can add in a path (Shift + A, curves, path) then select both your objext and the path and press Ctrl + p and choose 'follow path'
you can use shapekey-animted bevel and taper objects for curves
