chat icon Easy question about rigging and animations in game engine

Hello my name is mitchell biggs and i have a hugeeee problem with blender 2.63. I am trying to make a shooter game and i have a basic character with basic rigging and i have a couple questions.

One question i have is does it matter what kind of key frame you use for the animation? and also when i make the animation and then i go to the logic tab of my character what should i have highlighted? just the bones? or character and bones? and also when i go to the logic tab i make a sensor (keyboard) a controller (and) and an actuator (action) i type the name of the animation into the dope sheet thing (under actions<actuators<logic tab) then i put the starting frame and the ending frame. and i hit play, the game animation doesn't work when i click the key i chose!!!!!! some one PLEASEEE help me this is very stressfull.
