Are glossy textures possible in any Blender Tools?

The interface, modeling, 3d editing tools, import/export, feature requests, etc

Ok, so ... :)

First post on here, so as a newbie it's most likely in the wrong place.. sorry in advance :) uhmm heres my problem, basically in blender is it possible to get models like this wall (from skyrim) to appear shinny and be glossy? http://sphotos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/579565_436111959768923_1071680956_n.jpg

i think its called shaders or light maps? i dunno.. i dont use proper terminology i just model it, ahah.

But yeah, anyone know how i can achieve this cool effect?

cheers in advance,

I've seen Blender images ranging from cartoony to photo-realistic, so the answer is generally yes.

For specifics on how-to, this is a better question for the user forums at blenderartists.org .
