Recently a change was made to the import of .3ds files. It now takes note of a "size constraint" parameter, set in the import dialogue. You can set this to 0 to disable the procedure, but it defaults to 10. Why is this? I don't really understand what purpose it serves. Having a non-zero default value means you have to pay extra attention when importing, as it's rather unlikely arbitrary .3ds files will conform to this constraint. Certainly not the case for game levels, for instance.
Is this a mistake? Perhaps the default value is supposed to be 0?
