I am coming from C4D and here and then I try out blender.
Since a few days I've got a spacenavigator by 3dconnexion. Installed drivers and it worked directly in C4D and blender.
Unfortunately, blender has somewhat of a bad mapping (from my perspective).
I would love to assign the rotate funrtionality to the sping cw/ccw, panning to left right. Is this possible with blender?
Otherwise I have to re-learn each time when I switch!

I'll try to explain more clearly:
Currentle when I tilt the device left / right I will rotate to the left / right of the currently selected object.
I want it to change so that when I use the rotate function to rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise resepectively I will rotate around the object.
And furthermore, when I tilt the device to left or right, I want it to pan my scene instead of rotating.
Is this more clearly?
