Hi

I'm trying to open .blend files I created at school, but my home-Blender keeps crashing (segfault) right after I open one of the files.

- At school we're using Windows 7 64-bit, with Blender 2.63a 64-bit.

- At home I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit with Blender 2.62 32-bit. I've also tried using Blender 2.64a and Blender 2.64-r51291, but it keeps crashing (segfaulting)!

Note: I also have a 32-bit Windows XP-computer at home (with Blender 2.64a), and I can can open the school-files on that computer without a problem.
And when I create an empty .blend file on that computer, I can transfer and open them on my Ubuntu-computer without a problem... It's just the 64-bit files from school that won't work Shocked

Can anyone please help?

Ani

Blender files *should* be compatible between different platforms (32 vs 64 bit, operating systems, blender versions).

It would be very helpful if you could file a bug report via the Report a Bug link on this page:

http://www.blender.org/development/

Don't forget to attach the .blend file!
Thanks!
