Fur and normal map support in cycle ?

Hi all,

Do you have an idea when native support of the fur and strands rendering and support for normap mapping (tangent) will be enabled in Cycle ?

I found a way for fur, but unabled to get uv and color from position on the mesh that support fur to instanced geometries (by position)... :(
