I'm using blender 2.65 on Win7.
I'm loading image sequences into blender to create a movie out of them. This works perfectly with jpg files but not with bmp or gif files.
Any idea why.
Please tell me if this is not the correct forum.

I don't believe that BMP and GIF are supported formats (and yeah, I'm too lazy to go check for sure). You could run a batch converter (like ImageMagick or such) and convert your files to PNG (or JPEG) format.

yes, gif and bmp is not supported...I know cuz I tried importing gif reference image as plane and got an error...

u can simply use ms paint to save as jpeg, png, etc...thats wat i do..
