Hi, I'm having a small problem with textures.
Supposedly you can apply a material to the current selection of faces, select some other faces, then apply another material to those newly selected faces.
This never works for me, I have to detach the parts of the mesh completely that are to have a separate material. In other words I can only apply one single material to an object. If I apply more to different parts then only one single material is displayed over the entire mesh, despite it not being assigned to the whole mesh.
Any ideas?

Well, I don't know what I did but it works now
