I'm new to Blender.
Can't figure out how I could use my UV map and get the colors from the map to override the materialcolor red which should be set first?
When I export the file to .x and look on the .x file in DirectX viewer all of it's walls are red and not different colors. Except the digits which looks like green (hard to see exakt color in DirectX viewer).
And the option Export Texture don't work because I cant find the UV map file anywhere in the computer after that I have export the .x file. It should normally be in the same map as the saved .x file (after my opinion). Whats the problem with Export texteure?
I have follow this UV map sample to map a cube:
Maybe its only some options to get the cube to show only the cube_map:s painting?
But where is the texture file?
Find that if I change Diffuse to RGB 1.0, 1.0, 1.0 which is White color it works fine.
Every color looks correct when checking in DirectX viewer and in Blender.
About the texture map and save in Blender.
It could be the users responsibility to copy the texture map-file to the map your .x file are.
Then you don't need to clean maps where you have saved your .x file.
