When some my students would access User Preferences,let say to do some setting, The User preferences failed to be access, and Blender close immediately. Was there something false in installation processed or had a secret issued about the Os? FYI, the OS are Windows 7 home edition and above version.Thanks for your assistance.

Usually this is from poor OpenGL support in your graphic card/video driver.

You might try changing to the User Prefs window via the drop-down menu rather than File->User Prefs. Then play with the Window Draw Mode setting.

Updating the video drivers from the manunfacturer's website is often a solution.
