Every time i open Blender or try to open a file or try to save i get "Blender has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I've tried removing it and then re-installing it but i can't get it to work. I can't get it to work could anyone help?

Most likely a problem with your video driver not doing OpenGL well. More information about your system would be helpful.

Usual fixes are updated video drivers from the video card manufacturer's website, turning off transparency effects in the window manager and sometimes turning down display hardware acceleration.
