Hi,

I want to create a video effect using 2 strips. Is there a way to add an opacity mask (alfa channel).

e.g. wipe from top to bottom or diagonal. (everything except the standard wipe)

Using an alpha channel I want to partly show one strip and partially the second strip on the screen.

Does compositing come in to play here? I'm not an advanced user, so if someone can explain a little bit.
