How to remove follow contraint at certain keyframe?

Postby jar00n » Fri Feb 08, 2013 12:46 am

I have an object contrained to a path and then it moves along to its final destination coordinates.. kinda. After it moves along the curve it keeps it 'Forward: -Y' value and I want that value removed when it has finished following the path.

So basically the following scenario:

Frames 001 - 100: Object following path with Forward set to -Y
Frames 101 - 150: Object moves to final coordinates and is no longer contrained to the path variables

Thanks

I am not sure If I got it correctly. I assume that you want to remove the influence of the constrain at a certain point.

You can always choose the influence of the constraint with right click and choose add keyframe. Afterwards you can play with the value of influence in the dope sheet. from 001 to 100 have two keyframes with influence 1000 and in 101 put the influence to zero

I hope that helps
