Todays CVS Build:

This CVS build has been obsoleted by a newer build

http://www.letwory.net/cvsbuilds/bf_blender_windows_20040126.zip

Again, this is built with the SCons, using MSVC7 as the compiler. It has TTF, International, Quicktime and OpenAL support compiled in. The ODE-powered gameengine is now available, no Solid yet. The build has been scanned for viruses and is found to be clean.

Number of commits since previous build:
* 12 commits
* last commit 2004/01/26 00:59:23 CET

The relevant parts from the CVS commit logs:

* (progress) fonts Better 3D font handling.
* (bug fix) render Fix for Backbuffer/Optimise hang, ported from Tuhopuu.
* (bug fix) python API fixed bug #875
* (bug fix) python API fixed bug #724
* (progress) yafray arealight can now be used without global photonmap.
* (bug fix) yafray fixed spotlights not rendering.
* (bug fix) editing fixes crashing undo when limit is set to one: #929

Enjoy!

Thx jest.

BTW in a previous build (040121) I noticed that when I anim (not render) my ambient light settings don't get implemented. Anyone know why that is, or if it's fixed now? Or ehrrr... am I doing something stupid again?

Is the lamp distance maximum of 100 going to be a permanent feature?

Also render times for a material with displacement and refraction go through the roof using the inbuilt raytracer.
