Hi,

I am new to here but I am not new for Blender.
I am wonderring what is the license typ of Blender right now.
I work for a graphic chip maker and would like to convince my boss to bundle Blender with our hardware.
Does anyone tell what to do next?

Blender is licensed under the GNU General Public License. In short, you can distribute the compiled program as you wish, as long as you provide the source code as well. Basically, you can freely copy blender and put it on CDs etc, as long as you either include the source code, or provide the source code on request by a user. There is more information (and FAQs too) on the GPL here .

It'd be great to see Blender bundled with graphics cards etc, as long as the license conditions are met - if you have any more specific queries, please feel free to ask away.
