In the new 2.32 version, I opened a file I had been working on in 2.31a (and earlier) and rendered it. The Artifacts that show up on the OpenGL shaded view in the 3D workspace also were rendered--which I thought was quite weird. That has never happened in any previous renders under any other version, right up to 2.31a.

Has anyone else seen this? I used the default 2.32 "factory settings". I tried different things to correct it, but no success. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Could you post the blend file on the web so we
can take a look at it?

Hello again.

Maybe it's a backwards-compatibility problem? In the 2.32 render, I tried just rendering with the factory settings and the regular Scanline renderer. I tried Gauss, and other settings--all did the same thing. Again, first time this happened is in 2.32. v2.31a worked fine. I posted some pics to illustrate:

The .blend file is a little big and I'm on dialup. Let me know if it you still need it after looking at the pics.

Thanks! Smile

looks like a normals-problem to me. try CTRL+N in edit mode with all vertices selected to recalculate all vertex normals to sow outside.
