VelikM .. i've applied the file moving the blender folder in /cvs/ and downloading with curl -O (url to the diff.txt) into the blender folder..

then .. from the blender folder run

patch -i diff.txt

(it asks you the path of the file that you want to patch.. just copy and paste.. maybe you can use the -f option but i'm not sure about that. it patched 12 files to me ..)

hope it helps :)

VirtualDarKness:
Thanks thats what I needed.
I got some messages like this though:
"File to patch: source/gameengine/Converter/Makefile
patching file source/gameengine/Converter/Makefile
Hunk #1 FAILED at 46.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file source/gameengine/Converter/Makefile.rej
can't find file to patch at input line 220
Perhaps you should have used the -p or --strip option?
The text leading up to this was:"

Please check the NaN Publisher 2.25 OSX, at the download section here. We've put a lot of work in improving it. This gives better material to compare with than the old 2.23 (dec. 2001)

Many thanks Ton, I've just downloaded Publisher and to me it seems more stable than 2.23b for os X, though it has some little problems when rearranging windows in redrawing them correctly.

One thing, so what are the differences from Publisher 2.25 and the version that come out of the compiling?
Mind that I haven't succeded in compiling anything.

Keep up the (very) good work!

Long live and prosper.

Regarding the NaN Publisher 2.25... I downloaded it and it’s definitely better than 2.23 (spacebar>add>mesh>MONKEY?!), especially in the rendering department. Particle effects that didn’t work at all for me in 2.23 work in 2.25.

Quirks/problems I’ve noticed—
•closing a render window causes blender to lock up, and I have to quit it. (At least I can cancel a render without having it crash on me now though...)
•the interface is still very slow and unresponsive in maximized/fullscreen mode.

Anyhow, very nice work.

VelikM I think you aren't patching it from the right directory or you are specifing a wrong path..

check it.. don't use the -f option to insert the path of the file to patch manually each time .. the file it is specified from the patch app it self so if you are in the right dir. you just have to copy and paste it as I did.

bye

P.S.
blender publisher 2.25b's render works great!! cool :)
