They've worked very well (up to now

It seems to be the particles I believe that they are causing the problem.
The same file renders fine with the March 5 compile and it also renders fine if the 'Unified Render' button is activated.

Hmm, maybe it's not the particles. I deleted all of the particle effects and it is still doing it.

here is a weird problem, appenning with the render of particles: unified render option on and static particle On.

hi gimble,
my fault I'm afraid! Looks like the "shadow texture map" feature I was playing with is causing the black lines problem. I've removed this until I have time to track down exactly why it's not working right.
I'll update the tuhopuu windows binary in my last post later tonight....
