One suggestion I would make is to provide clearer lines between forums for programming and forums for using Blender. Right now it looks like most compile issues are being posted in "News" (and I guess in a way that is the big news recently )

I'd like to help with Blender development, but I am unsure where I should be looking for what needs to be done, who I should be talking to, etc...

The purpose is that all forums are about coding and development.
Elysiun.com is about using Blender.

www.blender3d.com gives background on the Blender Foundation, currently still dependent a lot on volunteers, with me organizing it all.

I should make more articles and info available for all new people. For the time being, please check the news section at www.blender3d.com to get the picture and the plans.

All help is welcome. With as current topic: get blender easier compiling at all platforms, with a clean makefile/project file structure. Next project then is getting the physics functionality up the 2.25 level.

And then the work can begin! We've got a bug database with 500 reports.
Will be available soon, the current server cannot handle the load.
