Sorry for asking what most likely will have an evident answer to it once it is given, but I've installed Blender Publisher 2.25, but WHERE and HOW do I load scripts or plugins? I'm trying to load some of the external redering engine converteres but I can't figure out how to start and can't seem to find the answer in the doc's I have.

Thanks for the help.

For render format converters, set one of the windows to the Text Editor screen (the icon looks like a little sheet of paper), click the "--" button, select "Open new" and select the script you want. Enter the setings the script wants, then press alt+p and the script will run.

Thank You! This helped. I am now, however, trying to use vlightexport210.py to export to virtualight format for rendering and am getting an error: Module Blender210 not found (I'm using Blender225).

Anyone have any ideas on making this script work with 225?

Thanks again

Hello

I'm no python guru but I think Blender210 module doesn't exist in 2.25 anymore, so this would need a rewrite of the plugin.
Try running it with 2.23... most exporters only works with this one.

Any Idea where I can get 2.23? The only download I was able to find since the freeing of Blender has been 2.25.

Thank You Thank You Thank You! Now I can try this export and see how the rendering goes - at least until Green finished the RIB interface and I can use 3Delight.... wooohoooo

I am having a few problems running Blender Creator 2.23. I've been running Publisher 2.25 with no problems, however, after installing Creator 2.23, my system keeps hanging when using 2.23 (still OK in 2.25 tho). I'm running XP and have an ATI Radeo VE video card.

Blender 2.25 and 2.23 are installed in seperate directories.

Any ideas?

I'm betting it's the ATI card, I've heard reports that their stuff isn't very friendly with the Blender implementation of OpenGL. Got another vid card you could swap in, to see if this is the problem? Confused

Hi!

You could also tru different driver versions...
There surely is one that fits.

Good Luck!
