I don't know a whole lot about php or whatever this site runs on but I think a cool new feature would be to add in every users' profile a list of different skills they have (C++, whatever) and incorporate a search feature so you can search for users with a specific skill.

This would help out when trying to find someone to ask a question or for finding volunteers for a certain task.

Maybe include a predefined list of skills and be able to rank them from 1-5.

I dunno if that would work but it's worth a shot asking right?
