Can I please have the name of a few hotels near De Waag (5 to 10 minutes walking)?

I hope that this link isn't bound to a session in any way... Just notify me if it doesn't work. Thx.

De Waag should be in the center of the map. Right some pixels below and to the right of the hotel which is highlighed in red.
Most of the hotels are expensive like hell. But probably you find a nice place which can also be paid by ordinary mortals like us.

most blenderers will be @stayokay youth hostel.
www.stayokay.com. 20 euros a night if you have no fear sleeping in a room with >8ppl (no problem).
I stayed there last year... was nice and clean.

Stayokay youth hostel - sounds good

. There are 2 in Amsterdam, which one is infiltrated by Blenderheads?
I think about getting to Amsterdam on Thursday - will there be other ones of you starting on Thursday, too?
Cheers

Hey, for Thursday count me in, we should meet at De Waag.
I'm to arrive at the Airport by 18:20 (Dutch time), then its up to the Hotel.
The hotel I'm staying is 5 minutes away from De Waag.
Maybe meet for dinner all arriving on Thursday, what do you guys think ?
Anyway, here is a
map.
And I did the booking at
here.
And I am staying
here and in the
map.

...cool - can't wait to see you all in person (it's my first Blender Conference)

I'd like to book everything this weekend, does anybody know which of the 2 stayokay-youth-hostels it is?
By the way, dinner at De Waag on Thursday evening sounds good, rcas.

Its my first Conference also.
I will have a Presentation Friday between 11:30 and 13:00 on a Round Table Session, hope you guys can attend to.
At De Waag it should be easy to know who I am, just look for the guy with a PocketPC using the Unofficial PocketPC Blender Theme
Or the guy using the PocketPC to translate the surroundings to some language he can understand
By the way, does anyone know the time the Train, from the Airport, takes to get to the Centraal Station ?

Thanks for the information, guys. I chose Stayokay Stadsdoelen, it is really close to De Waag.
Jui! Everything is booked now - I got a flight, a bed and ordered the pass for the conference

.
My flight arrives Thursday at 17:35 so I think I'll make it to dinner at De Waag (assuming I don't get stuck in this coffee shop time warp

).

I´ll arrive on thursday, too. I´m staying at the Quentin England hotel (
