FYI,

http://www.blender.org/ works in a browser, http://blender.org/ does not. Usually this can be fixed with a DNS entry. Don't mean to nitpick, but maybe you are interested

http://blender.org isn't supposed to work

Cookies don't function in alot of browsers when blender.org is used since a domain name requires atleast two .'s.
I might make http://blender.org forward to www.blender.org though. (I'll put it on my list).
