Yes, it's true. Blender 2.25 is really, really crashy on Windows 2000 Server. Yet, that's where it needs to be to use IIS features like intranetworking. I can bring up a nice bug report using Borland Delphi 7,

I'm using blender 2.25 under win 2000 and there's no problem .
except some few problem with some keyboard keys (return key on numeric pad , and delete keys , on french keyboard).

But i've a matrox graphic card , and this card is optimized for directx
and haven't hardware acceleration with open gl , so if your screen depth is 16 or 32 bits , it causes blender crashing , hard .

put your screen resolution to 24 bits color and it's fine !
