Importing DLL into Blender?

Postby volcaino » Wed Jan 15, 2003 11:48 pm

Is there any way of importing the libraries/functions within a DLL file into blender so they can be used in the Python environement?

I've got a whole lot of code that is in C/C++ that i want blender to be able to access, and don't want to have to convert the lot to python before i can use it. I'd much rather compile a DLL and access the routines that i need to from the scripting environment within blender.

Any ideas?? Or am i dreaming?? :?

I seem to always get the following error:

import error: dynamic module does not define init function (init*dll_name*)

wrap your code with python and then you can use it:

http://www.swig.org

Return to “Python”
