I would like to propose to the community that i would try and gather as many tutorials as possible and make them available on the web somewhere.
This might sound like a small insignificant task but i dont think it will be without the help of the community. Maybe a new section in the forum either here or on elysiun could be dedicated to tutorials, where people could post links to their tutorials and so on.
This is probably something that I will start now anyway and help/suggestions would be useful.
Stefano already has a listing of current tutorials with sites at the top of the Q&A forum on Elysiun.
I beleive that there is every tute you can imagine posted there already.
I would very much like to have something like the old Blendermania tutorial site. It had a way for people to log on and create a tutorial via a set format and then it was simply added to the list for everyone to see.
I just don't know how to set it up. Would anyone like to help me there? If you go to my site, I put up what was created on the old Blendermania site by many blenderheaded enthusiasts and it's where I learned to blend myself.
I have SQL available through my web host, so I think it's all possible?? but I have too much on my plate to learn/do it alone.
BTW I think I'm gonna cross post ;oP
Of course they haven't all been put up yet, I'm a bit slow, sorry.
I'm working on one. You can find it here:
yeah valar kings site is the best i have found with links to tuts.
Please take the time to check my list
(Unless, of course, valarking has already taken it in full, so that you can check only his
I'm missing a few on there, but I'll get them in the near future.
These are nice stuffs, thank you guys
You guys made Blender accessible to may 3D artists out there.
i think it would be cool if they make a new set of tutorials that are more up to date...i've run across some realy cool tut's but thare way out of date and hard to follow...just a tought
Tutorials are great, I really like the ones that include little hidden details about how blender works.
I think a good thing at the moment would be tuts on all the new features in 2.25.
Kinda like a "whats new and how to use it".
I believe that tutorials have been the most important resource for me as a developing Blender user and I am very happy to see that there are people out there who wish to enhance the amount of Blender tutorial content on the web. I had a quick browse over valar_king's site and it is very comprehensive- I can see it being a frequently visited favourite.
Keep up the good work.
