This is consistent across vss. 2.2x, 2.25, and 2.26 on both Win2K and WinXP.

When Blender attempts any read/write to a particular directory, it crashes out with an Application Exception Error logged in Dr. Watson.

Activities that cause this behavior include append/open/save.


Troubleshooting so far:

I have deleted the config files in C:\Documents and Settings\me\Application Data\Not a Number, as instructed by a previous poster.

I have also run a scandisk, virus check, and file system check.
