Hi,

Mac OS 10.4.7

I'm trying to install the blender-2.42a-OSX-10.3-py2.3-powerpc.dmg.

I can't install the program. I can us it as a .dmg folder but can't install the program so I don't have to reused the dmg file everytime. What am I doing wrong or can't you permanently install it.

hi,
drag all the contents of the .dmg archive to a folder on your mac.


call this folder "blender", put it in the Application folder,
drag the blender's files from the dmg to this folder,
drag the blender icon to the dock.

Does it work for you? Because I get an instant crash when I launch the blender.app...
