Blender has Sintel in the festival, two Birds of Feather meetings and three days presence on the tradeshow.

Ton Roosendaal will present past year's achievements and next year's plans for Blender. Feedback and questions by the audience is welcome!
Blender Foundation, Artist Showcase
Sunday August 7, 4:00 - 6:00 PM, Vancouver Convention Centre
Open stage: Blender Artists will show and talk about work they did. Anyone can participate, but contact us (mail below) to reserve a slot. Sintel director Colin Levy, Sintel animator/rigger Nathan Vegdahl, Project London director Ian Hubert and Tube director Bassam Kurdali will show work too. When there's time left we'll show some movies or artwork realized with Blender too.
COLLADA meeting
Thursday August 11, 2:00 - 4:00 PM, Vancouver Convention Centre
Among others, Blender developer Nathan Letwory will give a presentation too.
Note: Birds of a Feather meetings are open to attend for everyone, also without Siggraph registration!
Tuesday - thursday, August 9-11, Vancouver Convention Centre
Blender Foundation will present Blender at a 3x6 meter booth in the middle of the commercial CG action at the tradeshow. Drop by to check on renowned artists showcasing Blender or just have fun hanging out!
Artists volunteering to demo at the show can contact us (see below).
About 60 CG movie highlights have been accepted for being shown at the Siggraph Animation Festival. To watch these you need to purchase a special ticket though... Sintel show times and theaters will be announced on siggraph.org later.
As part of the tradeshow rental package, Blender Foundation can give out 100 free "tradeshow only" passes for visitors. Simply send us an email to get the link how to retrieve it.
If you like to join with other Blender users or developers for drinks or dinner in evening: sunday 6 PM outside BoF room, tuesday & wednesday 6 PM at Blender tradeshow booth.
