projects.blender.org SVN migration

May 11th 2007 the projects.blender.org will be migrated to a new GForge install, using SVN.

The blender.org projects site hosts the official Blender Foundation software project, but also numerous other projects related to Blender and/or 3D development. Projects typically consist of a CVS repository, mailing lists and bug trackers.

At may 11th, this site will be upgraded:

• A brand new (10 x faster) server will be used.
  The GForge projets software will be updated
• GForge default will be using Subversion (SVN) instead of CVS, all projects - including history  - will be converted
• The ssh keys will get dropped, instead direct login to SVN will be supported (svn login, passwd, go ahead)
• All mailing lists get transfered
