Web-Based 3D Printing Applications using Blender

I am specialised on web based product configurators using Blender Internal and Cycles for Live-Rendering of product images. In this talk I present the requirements and a demo that shows how the same 3D-models that are programmatically manipulated by the user (for the sake of product visualization) can be used and transfered to a 3D-Printing provider in order to allow everybody (even grandma's) the creation of individual 3D printed products. This is possible as we replace the blender GUI with a very simple and easy to use web-frontend.

After the introductory parts and an overview to the application itself, I adress technical and modeling details, similar to a "making of".
