Since early 2012, NI mate has provided means of achieving markerless real-time motion capture in Blender. Originally released in august 2015, NI mate 2 now adds support for the next generation of sensors such as Intel RealSense, Kinect for Windows 2 and Leap Motion. This presentation first offers a quick overview of using the software with Blender. Next we will present at least two real-world projects that make use of the Blender game engine and NI mate 2 for motion enabled interactive advertisements. Finally, we will showcase real-time facial motion capture in a Blender project using NI mate 2 and an Intel RealSense F200 camera.
