I recently had the opportunity to utilize Blender for a large projection mapping project in Buffalo, NY. In my research and development for the project, I utilized a modified python script (found on blenderartists.org) to create large image sequences from baked textures using Blender's Cycles rendering engine. Through this method I was able to accurately create animations that responded to the architectural contours of a historic building here in Buffalo. I believe the techniques I devised in this project would be valuable to other artists and developers for a variety of creative purposes. I'd like to spend about 15 - 20 minutes discussing the project with the Blender community, share what I have learned, and answer questions.
