UILayout and color

Hey,

is there any way to set the background color of a UILayout component? I need this for highlighting alternating rows in a table, like in the Outliner view.

Thanks in advance,

The report functionality is (AFAIK) currently not available, you have to start Blender from a terminal and watch the terminal for outputs. But i guess it will come back before the final release, since the error message you get when your scripts fail reads... "Python script fail, look into the consol...

Wonderful, thank you. Now I just have to figure out how to put that panel along the bottom instead of the side... AFAIK that's not possible, but what you can do is this: * split the view and create another 3D view below * make it small so it just shows the numeric editor Should do the trick. bw, Skim

Hey, either the face really has no uv coordinates (if you don't assign them they are not existent, there is no default value), or you are accessing the data in the wrong way. I assume you want the per-vertex uv coordinates. Have a look at: http://www.zoo-logique.org/3D.Blender/scripts_python/API/NMe...

Hey, since you have control over the output of your data, it seems best to go the import route. Have a look at the available importers (depending on the Blender version you're using): 2.49: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Extensions:2.4/Py/Scripts#Import or 2.56: http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/...

2.56: References to custom properties?

Hey, what I'd like to achieve is something like this: class Custom(bpy.types.PropertyGroup): #definitions #registered to WindowManager.myprops class MyProps(bpy.types.PropertyGroup): custom_one = bpy.props.PointerProperty(name="Default", type=Custom) class MyOperator(bpy.types.Operator): bl_idname =...

Re: Strange User Interface (like safe-mode)

I'm totaly frustrated, tried to searching google but nothing came up. Are there two different versions? Yes. Your first screen shows Blender 2.56, the second one is from Blender 2.49. 2.49 is the current stable version, 2.56 is the upcoming new version of Blender, currently in beta status. A LOT of...
