Feature Request - Packing things from seq. editor.
Just a small (yeah, right...) request... I've noticed that, when using the 'Pack Data' option, only textures are packed with the file. How about also having an option to also pack external files that have been added to the sequence editor as strips (images, sound files, videos) so they are also avai...

To disable hardware acceleration, go to desktop, then right click, Properties>>Settings>>Advanced Settings>>Troubleshooting and set the hardware acceleration slider to none. Marty_D: as far as I know, MS OpenGL doesn't do hardware acceleration. The standard drivers provided with the Windows installa...

How about implementing text-based object generation, like the one use in L-system?:

Have a look here for an example:

This is good, and not only for making trees!

Showing a percentage of the particles is a great idea! And setting the slider to 0% would hide them from view. But for dupliverts it would have to be a hide button (showing a percentage doesn't seem useful in this case), especially if the dupliverted object is very complex, so the user can prevent s...

Feature request: Hiding particles/duplis in the 3d view
How about an option (a button) for hiding particles from the 3D View, and also one for hiding dupliverts? It might be nice to have them hidden in the 3D view (while unhidden when rendering). It woud be like having subdivision enabled only when rendering. (And yes, I know you can move the particle em...

Maybe the developers can code inside Blender the full list of hotkeys? (something that displays in the text editor (like an inbuilt text file) so they can have the list on one side for use as reference (instead of having a separate file outside of Blender and having to switch back and forth finding ...

I'm not sure about the race/drive thing. In both cases, the driver (or the blender user) decides to drive (use Blender) to get somewhere (get the work done). In both cases you achieve something (your 3d skills increase) but in the race you get an award (winning a Blender contest perhaps? :P ). Now, ...

for anything to be displayed to a monitor it must go through the 2d card as well as the 3d, if you want openGL acceleration. Aaah, IF you want OpenGL acceleration. But a 3D card is not necessary, as opengl runs in software. ...and anything directx is done with you 3D card if its a directX 3D card, ...
