Oh, geez. Another important info: this will happen when I "Shift+Space" out of the fullscreen viewport before the render is fully cancelled.

Forgot to say how it happened. It's Blender 2.66a, right from the blender.org site. It's Windows XP. My PC is a 2.8Gz Pentium 4 with HT. 2 GB RAM. I originally started this project with 2.63 or so. When I try to use a specularity map or reflection map I have to make sure the "Use Alpha" button is turned off in the texture menu, under the "Image Sampling" tab. Simply put, this lights the model from all sides equaly. This is good for seeing if your model is the way you want it, with textures alining right and geometry is correct. Feature request for highlighted layers.

Idea is that when you have more than one layer open, when you highlight an object or objects, the layers are highlighted. It might be pretty useful for those more complicated scenes.

Have you used the Yafray SSS before? I have, and it took forever to render. Infact, it took so long I just stoped it. And it was just a 640x480 pic with a sphere in it.
