lukep I don't believe object snap is a thing of the past. It's well a truly here to stay. Why do you elevate solid modelling soft above 2D/3D cad like AutoCAD they are both very valid soft for different jobs but fundementaly the same. 3Dmax has object snaps. Where do you think a great many new users...

downloading.. many thanks Marc can't wait to give it ago on Linux. been waiting hoping you'd release the script, but shaders as well, fantastic. I hate to ask this but will the script and shaders work on windows, if so can someone untar them or point me to a untar prog. thanks in advance once again.
