Has anyone gotten a chance to take a look at the bug report? I'm kinda impatient in case you didn't notice :).

Thanks for your response. We've submitted several bug reports with full non-working models and nothing has come of it. Bob helped for a while, but I haven't heard from him for a few months. I hope you understand how frustrating this situation is for people like me, who don't have the option of using...

Hmmmm

I tried that script. Still nothing. This time it says that there's no module named BPyMesh. Thanks for your help anyway.

Really surprised nobody from Blender has helped on this. MD2 is a relatively popular format, I would have thought that they could get an exporter working.

Getting an error with this script:

Code: Select all

                   ^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\.blender\scripts\md2_export.
py", line 53, in ?

ImportError: No module named BPyMesh
Any ideas?

I followed your instructions, and it's still coming up a little weird. Could you maybe send the blend with the changes you made?

I'd also like to thank you for all the help you've provided with this issue. Has made things a TON easier.

Ok - I was wrong. The exporter is messing up a model I'm trying to export: http://arkfamily.org/MZ/Animated_man.blend.

Any ideas?

It works!

I just exported a model and it worked! No messed up geometry or anything! Still have to test it on a few more mod's but I think it's gonna work this time.

Thanks so much Bob!

Not quite yet!

Thanks for your help Bob! The new exporter works great, except that when I use strips and fans it is missing geometry again? Any ideas? &bibimbap: There was an exporter uploaded on a seperate thread in the bug report, but it seems to have been removed. &bob: Is there any place you could upload the f...
