Here's a thread where some people were trying to figure out how to make good cell shading effects with Blender. (There are some links to screen grabs, and maybe a .blend, too.) Hope it's useful. http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=74987 p.s. These kind of questions are best posted at a ...

These type of questions are best posted at a Blender user forum, such as www.blenderartists.org , because this is the developer's forum. To save the animation, first select the codec that you want to save the file as. Then set your start and end frames to be the range of frames that you want rendere...

I had a blue screen of death crash when running a simulation with the new cloth modifer. It had gotten to around frame 200 of a 250 fram simulation, I brought up the Blender terminal, and noticed that it had repeatedly printed something about normalizing source code or failing to normalize source co...

Which version of Blender did you download (i.e. Python 2.3 or 2.4)? If you don't have python installed, install the same number python version as your Blender download uses. Hope this helps. www.elysiun.com is probably the best place for Blender related questions. Most of the people there are friendly and helpful. (Some even seem to lurk in the forum for Blender questions waiting to answer them more quickly than anyone else.

Which version of Blender are you using? Do you mean that the materials turn white when you hit "P" to go into the game engine? You might want to try posting this at www.elysiun.com (most likely in the Game Engine Forum if the problem occurs when you go into Game Engine mode.) Elysiun.com is the best...

Weird bug (Either it's a bug or I did something completely wrong.): I baked my simulation, and when I set it to view the Preview mesh, everything's fine, but when I set it to Final, the mesh is distorted and stretched all over the place. Using Windows XP. DwarvenFury *edit* Here's a pic: http://img1...

I have a similar problem.:( I just did a clean install of Windows XP (Yes, Windows.:? ) and now whenever I start Blender, it hangs, and then crashes. Most of the time it won't even draw the 3-D view or the buttons. I have the latest NVIDIA Drivers for my computer, and the latest DirectX version. My ...
