hi squirrel!

I also want to extend a warm welcome to you from the community.

If you haven't already discovered blenderartists.org, I suggest you visit that forum also. Most of the artists and other people with talent hang out there. blender.org is mainly a development forum.

Support for decimal framerates?

How hard would it be to add decimal framerates to blender? I'm referring to framerates like 29.97 fps. It is almost counterproductive to render out long series of images to string them together in virtualdub. When trying to edit a NTSC video in the sequence editor, video and audio are slightly off b...

my lightbulbs are clouded and I can't see anything in them...maybe if you posted a screenshot of your model and the lighting setup I can play with it a bit. Or better yet, post a blend (if you can).

Conventional wisdom says a good processor and lots of fast ram. Preferably Dual Core ofcourse. However. I wouldn't write off a good graphics processor completely. It is still very early, but gpu-accelerated renderers are starting to make an appearance. NVidia has recently released a free version of...

Why don't you use yafray? It can achieve far more realistic results than Blender's internal renderer can. Also, you can set raydepth up to 100 and caustic depth up to 100.

ok . . . I was just confirming that it might be bug. . .

Don't want to overburden the blender devs. They are doing a great job as it is. :D

Settings OSA=16 Sampling=Mitchell Unified Renderer=On Part size =8x8 SHADOW, RAY, ENVMAP, RAD Rendersize= 3000x2400 I noticed these errors (circled ...

I think it has something to do with the way the 2006_02_26 build was compiled. I rendered the scene just fine in the 2006_02_27 build.

Rendering Errors in CVS versions

I have recently been working on a project. . . and I noticed that there is a major difference in the way two version of bf-blender render. The results on the same file are competely different. It looks like a bug . . . a big bug. bf-blender 2006-02-13 (win32) http://gallery.mudpuddle.co.nz/albums/ja...
