Thanks cessen. I'm not a heavy Blender user, so I guess I just hadn't tried subsurfing such a low-rez sphere.

Oh well, I'll use an isoshpere then.

Hmmm....

On further investigation I noticed that this seems to only happen (noticeably, at least) when you use less then 32 rings and segments.

However, it's still uexpected behaviour, so my original post is still valid.

Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this. I just installed Blender 2.4 alpha 1 today and was trying out the new fluid sim.
