Yep, I think it will make the paint modes much more attractive. I'm sure most people use them more than I do, but then, I'm learning from scratch. I think that UV mapping is definitely important and that "power-users" will always do that. However, even for people who UV maps easily, this tool could ...

Feature request: Brushes and texture brushes (paint mode)

Hello! I'm not sure if it has been posted yet and/or if there's any work going on. I've discovered yesterday a program called ZBrush. It is kind of an expensive tool (500USD). I'm not going to ask a feature that does what ZBrush does, but I saw this video tutorial on texturing with it and I thought ...

bfvietnam, you're too long to read. but you might want to apply to softimage. they may hire you for advertising their products. nothing else to say. edit: yep, i remember something else. amazing that blender only has 10 developers... BTW, a better example  Select the top vertexs and push [E]+[Enter]+[S]+[0]+[Enter]+[W>Remove doubles] :P Yep, that's exactly the kind of task I'm talking about. I guess if we can only repeat one action, it would be useful but not as powerful as it could be. Maybe something like "repeat las...

Hello, I've been working on blender lately and I found out a practical application of this. Imagine you have a tube mesh and you want to put a "bottom" on it. So you go in edit mode, add a vertice at the center of the bottom circle and then, you start making faces with the middle vertices and two ve...

This simple comparison yields interesting results. I wish I could install gentoo on my box (I get stuck with sata drivers...) I guess that, since blender is not yet optimized for 64 bits processors, the gain in time results from "collateral" reasons (i.e. memory usage or difference in processus load...

feature request: repeat last action in edit mode

Hello everybody, This is my first post here. I tried to find if the feature I'm going to talk about already exists in Blender. It seems that it doesn't. I'm not an expert user and I am not a programmer. However, I used Blender for a little time and I faced a problem. In some meshes I was editing, I ...
