Thanx a lot Stiv for your answer, that makes sense. Then I'll try to find the latest version of Rigify for my version of Blender.

Updating Rigify addon in Blender?

Hi everyone. I'm a returning Blender user. It's been a looong while since the last time. I need some basic help in updating the Rigify addon in my Blender 2.66a (I'm using that version because is supposed to be compatible with some exporting tool for the Ogre Engine... I hope). The thing is Blender ...

I SOLVED IT!! :D :D :D You guys won't imagine what was the problem: When installing Blender, I must choose the "Use installation directory" option for user data files instead of the "Use Application Data Directory" recommended option. Then Blender started up correctly!! I guess that Blender wasn't a...

Hi Nextor, This is what I have done as well, even though the naming of some is a little different: - Right mouse on Windows desktop then select Properties. - Settings tab and then the Advanced button. - Troubleshoot tab gives the Hardware acceleration option. - Then successively shift the slider on...

Thanx Stiv but that doesn't seem to work. I get exactly the same crash.

I'm trying to ask Hilbert, the other user who had that problem, to know how to solve it.

Thanx again.

Hi Hilbert: I seem to have the same problem too. I tried to turn off the hardware acceleration of my graphic card (on Screen Properties->Configuration->Advanced Options->Solving problems->Hardware acceleration...) but it seems not to be the problem. Could you please tell me what exactly did you turn...

2.57b version crashes at startup [SOLVED]

Hi all: Sorry if I'm posting something stupid, but I'm an old Blender user and it's been a while since the last time I used it. I'm coming back! I've just downloaded the last version (2.57b) and installed it in my computer along with Python 3.2 (don't know if that was necessary though). It crashes j...

Issue in DirectX Exporter Mod 1.3.2 script

Hi all! I've been using Omari & Jox's script (DirectX Exporter Mod 1.3.2) for exporting Blender animated meshes a lot, and I've come across with an issue about vertex weights: they aren't calculated correctly, so the exported animated mesh gets wrong movements on some vertexes (those which have more...

Something interesting about turning actions into strips...

I've just find out something about turning action into strips. Maybe it's useful to you (or maybe that is just something everybody knew already and it's posted somewhere for ages, so excuse me  ). I modelled a character and set up a walkcycle for it. In the Action Editor, I needed to insert ke...

Curve path animation, ¿any good tutorial out there?

Hi. I'm learning to use Blender by reading the manual and right now I'm a bit of stuck. The explanation and the example in the "Path Animation" section (Chapter 14) is not very clear.

Is there any good tutorial for that?

Thanks in advance
