Edit: Not paying attention :(

If the taper you refer to is the angled faces on the ends then just scale with S-Key, Shift-Z to prevent scaling along Z-Axis (assuming vertical tube).

I imagine most of the stuff in this directory is outdated: http://download.blender.org/documentation/htmlI/ (C)2002 Certainly anything to do with armatures, mirror, materials and subsurf (off the top of my head) is bound to cause trouble for new users. Maybe the best short-term strategy is just to p...

PLEASE Remove Old Docs (html)

Could I please request that someone in authority remove the old html documentation from blender.org? I'm sure most of the important stuff has now been included in one of the wikis and these old docs are causing mor etrouble than they're worth with the recent flood of new users who seem to find them ...

Ahhh, I see. You haven't got an audio frequency selected - that seems to fix it.

My Blender has 44.1Khz selected by default, even with no audio imported.

Admittedly, it would be nice if it threw up an error message instead of doing what it does do.

Just tested this latest version as per your instructions and I'm not seeing any similar problem (OS10.3.9/Py2.3).

Out of interest, does it mess up if you press the sync button in the soundblock context screen instead?

I tried keying the bones but nothing happened. The problem, as I see it, is that the individual bone rotations aren't updated in an IK chain (check the Num panel) so there's nothing to key.

Will this feature be extended to IK bones? Currently if you switch IK influence to zero, the bones all jump to their rest positions - which is a little inconvenient and defeats the purpose . Although the visualRot keys show in the key list, they have no effect on this problem.

Note that Blender doesn't remember this setting on quit. So, when you re-open the file later so you have to remember to turn it on again.

Also note that it is universal so if you move a camera or lamp or a prop of some sort, that move will be keyed too.

Hi Randall,

What's "broken" exactly? What does/doesn't it do?

Thanks Lukep. I guess this release doesn't contain ffmpeg and muxing support? If it does, can you point to any links that explain how to access these new output options?

I have now tested this on a different computer with the same result. It appears Blender MAC will not load its own Mixdown WAV files.

So, is this an intended limitation or a bug?

Ta.

Can't load MIXDOWN WAV? (was: alutLoadWAVMemory...)

(TEXT below has been edited as I previously believed this was a new problem but now I suspect I hadn't really tried loading mixdown files back into Blender before so the problem may have existed all along) Blender refuses to load its own "Mixdown" wav files and just crashes at every attempt. It stil...

Sorry to be a pain. I downloaded the 'make' version and unzipped it but it was in a folder full of other stuff so I'm not sure if I have everything. Is there just one "blender" file in the zip and nothing else? EDIT: One minor thing I've noticed in this and previous 2.4 versions: If you playback an ...
