If you watched the conference videos.. the OS of the projector computer was a Window$ Vista..

I think it's just because it was property of De Waag, and not BF's.

BTW, it runned Blender smoothly.

We can solve the entire matter easily: here are the links to truly declared erotic art: Henri de Toulouse-Latrec. I've already posted similar whishes: easier way to model and transform accurately and also to have a on-the-fly snap.
Blender would have a chance to become a really useful CAD software!

Alltaken, your post has a lot of good points. I don't like too the idea of a closed amateur community, and Blender excites me because wants to get rid of it. I was just considering it from a company point of view: spending a lot of money in buying maya or max and in training is a must by now if you ...

- Edge control - Bevel command (at least!) - cylinder spot lamp - Gizmo - Stack history - All lights ability of casting shadows - Extrude/move along sub-local axis, perpendicular, edge,... - Radiosity without melting the meshes I'm sure I've forgottn a lot of things. Best thing would be having a hug...

I agree with S68, a "STACK" (see 3DS MAX) would be surely a more useful and powerful addition than a mere UNDO feature.
I'm not a coder, so I don't know how much it's hard to implement it.

Maybe you haven't noticed the price of Deep Exploration. If someone wants to spend such amount just to buy a graphics format interchanging program obviously he has also the money to buy a commercial 3D prog with better features than Blender (I love it but I love it as a freeware - I wouldn't change ...

ve4drk, that's exactly my problem: menus are unusable on my Win XP AMD 1800 Radeon 7200 64MB : I run every OpenGL game smooth at 1280x1024 and I have to wait to see a menu appear in Blender (with empty scenes). What's the matter? Of course tried different settings but nothing happened.
