I definitely agree with all that slikdigit has said hereabove. All this issues are really important for animators or even more standard features. It would be great to have them finally in Blender.

MaxScipt to Python Script (Spline IK)?

Hello, as an introduction I have to say that I am not a programmer. So I really do not know whether this is possible at all or how difficult for programmers this may be. You may know that there are some discussions how useful spline IK constraint may be. See for example this BlenderNation article ht...

PYCONSTRAINTS CHALLENGE!!!

Hello, I am not too often visiting this special forum group as I do not know nearly nothing about coding nor python. But as I know there are some brilliant python gurus  . As you probably know Blender 2.46 will have implemented the possibility of python constraints. More info here http://ww...

Introducing Spline IK would be really really great. I have spent three weeks trying to mimic this feature in Blender (using b-bones, curve deforms, IK solvers and hooks, ...). Without any luck. As this is quite standard feature in all 3d application with rigging capabilities it would be nice to have...

I think that relevant answer is to try more 3d apps for some time and then judge. When I opened Blender for the first time it was very very hard to be to understand UI. After several month of practice I may compare it with Maya and Cinema. People belive me work flow in Blender is bloody fast. I woul...
