Which licence should be preferred for documentation?

I've read a little discussion on the FDL, which says it might not be the best, because of complexity and saying nothing about possible content like files (pictures, sound, *.blend). Which other licences are possible or is thougt about?

Using Blender under linux doesn't prevent you from creating a so called "Runtime". The Runtime created under linux is exactly what the .exe is under windows. Hmm, maybe you thought of some "free" documentation, but there's already a doc in blenders e-shop. The "Reference to Blenders real-time 3D engine" comes with descriptions for actuators. It's currently 8€ or $.
