Sorry but I've had to comment this statement because it sounds to me like the famous: 640K is enough for anyone...

Based on my needs, 16 materials/object isn't enough. But also I don't think that anyone needs 4 billion of materials. I vote for 16 bit.

Build with mingw-gcc fails when quicktime enabled

While compilation with MSVC 8 goes without any problems, I have problems when I want to compile Blender with qucktime enabled using mingw-gcc because of errors: C:\build\lib\windows\QTDevWin\CIncludes/fp.h:89: error: conflicting types for 'float_t' c:\mingw\bin\../lib/gcc/mingw32/4.3.2/../../../../i...

Render UV Seems script

My first useful contribution to Blender community. Well, at least, I hope it will be useful Because "Save UV Face Layout" script that comes with Blender only saves tga and svg, I've decided to write my own. Note: Script only tested in Blender 2.44 and 2.45 (Python 2.5) on Win XP. Updated: 28.09.2007...

Menu button values

My english isn't that good but I will try to explain what I need: I have 2 menus, I have created them in this way: import Blender from Blender import * # Globals glob_menu1 = Draw.Create(0) glob_menu2 = Draw.Create(0) mnu1Content = "Menu1%t|Option1|Option2" mnu2Content = "" menuDict = {"Option1":["O...

I have played a bit with properties on materials but IMO coders are making things more complicated then it should be  I don't understand why properties isn't a plain dict instead of struct. Please, don't catch on my mistakes in naming things, I will show you what I mean in eg. This is current ...

Well, I'm not a python programmer but I have managed to get that "Armature Symmetry" script work for me. I had to rewrite most of the code but hey, life is a bitch :) Unfortunatley, they have not yet included API for bone constrains, or I can't find it, so you must do some hady work even after this...

Armature symmetry [solved - at least for me]

I don't get it... Why bone and editbone roll isn't of the same type? I wish to create a mirrored clone of a bone and I don't know how to set roll value correctly... Edit: Now I think that there is a bug in armature accesing with python. Let say that I have one armature (I use interactive console to ...
